Should we expect the autograph checklist to be as advertised?

I'm very excited for this to come out, as I will be going after every copy listed of 1 of the '61 buybacks.
Nope, different player.mudflap02 said:If it's the Billy Williams buyback, I would honestly be surprised if a single one was included in this product.

Thanks bud! I will be building a very comprehensive search.mudflap02 said:They guarantee nothing. If you're going after one player. be sure to do searches including title and description (possibly with the card number) since a lot of folks will just end up listing their box toppers in lots of 5 or 10. Good luck with it! If it's a common player, I think you might be able to amass 10 or 20 of the same card.
Thanks again for the info.mudflap02 said:Commons usually sell for anywhere from $2 to $5 apiece, but if you're trying to corner the market on one card, you might just be costing yourself money as time goes on.
If someone if trying to do the buyback set, you will be picking up cards of your guy cheaply at first, then as everyone realizes that "your guy" is a tough one to get, they will bid accordingly. I'd say offhand that you can expect to pay between $2 and $5 at release, then about a month o so after release you may be paying up to $10 per card. Still not really going to break the bank either way.

Oh, and if you're lucky you'll get a Real One autograph of some retired nobody that charged 3 bucks a sig to sign for them.
Heritage would be a great product....if it was $34.95 a box
