Really nice Kevin.

Should we expect the autograph checklist to be as advertised?

I was nervous that he ignored that question.

Cool interview!

I'm very excited for this to come out, as I will be going after every copy listed of 1 of the '61 buybacks.

If it's the Billy Williams buyback, I would honestly be surprised if a single one was included in this product.

Nope, different player. :D The unstamped card is .50 cent common.

Regarding that though, do they guarantee at least one of every card from the set?

They guarantee nothing. If you're going after one player. be sure to do searches including title and description (possibly with the card number) since a lot of folks will just end up listing their box toppers in lots of 5 or 10. Good luck with it! If it's a common player, I think you might be able to amass 10 or 20 of the same card.

Thanks bud! I will be building a very comprehensive search.

So, basically what you are saying is that commons that can be had for a dollar or less should have multiple copies in the product?

That's good to know, because there don't seem to be many listed from the past few years.

Commons usually sell for anywhere from $2 to $5 apiece, but if you're trying to corner the market on one card, you might just be costing yourself money as time goes on.

If someone if trying to do the buyback set, you will be picking up cards of your guy cheaply at first, then as everyone realizes that "your guy" is a tough one to get, they will bid accordingly. I'd say offhand that you can expect to pay between $2 and $5 at release, then about a month o so after release you may be paying up to $10 per card. Still not really going to break the bank either way.

Thanks again for the info.

Oh, and just for reference, what I meant by less than a dollar was for the unstamped original cards.

Gotta love Topps Heritage. Printed on woodgrain cardboard stock (you know, the same material they made base Topps cards with that cost 50 cents a pack), with one jersey "hit" a box. Oh, and if you're lucky you'll get a Real One autograph of some retired nobody that charged 3 bucks a sig to sign for them.

Heritage would be a great product....if it was $34.95 a box
