Man that card looks like a reprint it's so nice. It would be amazing to see a BGS 10 1994 SP Rodriguez sell. That and the 93 SP Jeter would be the holy grails of 90s RCs that are condition sensitive.

ok that card is how much raw? so you're buying the exact same card in better shape, that probably still looks nice, for a whole lot more

Questions like this just show grading isn't for you and you don't understand it. That's fine, but you can't make a statement like that.

don't get me wrong, I think grading is pretty cool and a BGs 9.5 slab looks great. But it's too subjective; on any one day you could get a 9, and the next a new grader could give you a 9.5 or an 8.5.


are these that different? one's a 10, the other a 9

Grading actually isn't "for" the majority of collectors, and yet most of them understand it.

Can we please stop pretending we can understand the grade a card got from scans. You CAN'T judge a card until you see it in person in a slab or not. The constant how will this grade is useless. There are so many variables to look at which you just cant tell from a scan.
