so how long before the auto fades away entirely? :lol:

that's the problem I have with letterman cards - I'm worried the ink will deepen into the cloth/fabric and fade to nothing over time.

I could be wrong, but I believe that's exactly what happened with the letter patch autos Donruss did in '04 or '05. Within a year or two, many of the autos were barely recognizable.

I do think the cards signed in silver will hold up better, but I'm less confident about those in black/blue.

I have 2 or 3 of those USA Letterman Auto's from that set and I can say that I am not happy with them. The windows aren't big enough for the letters, the autos aren't clear, and the autos fade/blend into the fabric. I am much happier with the Letterman Autos from the 2010 USA set. Regardless, there are enough people who have to have Strasburg stuff now that it should fetch you quite a bit. Congrats!
