9 IP, 3 H, 1 ER (Laynce Nix Solo in the 8th, he's just on fire)

Faced one over the minimum.

This moves his season stats to...

4-0, 38 IP, 19 H, 3 ER (.071 ERA), 31 K, 5 BB

Just nasty. Just got to pray he doesn't get hurt.

Complete knock on wood. Him staying healthy leads to Cardinal success.

Haha! Is Laynce Nix in the team's long term plans? I've always been a fan of his and even considered collecting him.

As great as Carp was, thank god we have Pujols. This team cannot score without him. Today TLR said the #1 priority needs to be a bat behind Albert.

For those that didn't see the game, Jerry Hairston is lucky to be alive.

He's a top 5 pitcher in baseball when he's healthy.

I heard TLR say that. He mentioned Holiday, who I'd love to have. Duncan, Perez, Boggs perhaps? I'm a huge fan of Duncan, but Holiday would give the team another core player.

As for Hairston, that was pretty funny, haha. I bet he didn't even see the ball.

Any reason he shouldn't be on the All-Star team? All I keep hearing is Yadi and Pujols, but even with the injury Carp should be a no-brainer pick, especially in his home park.

I hope he is. Charlie Manuel will have to make the decision though. I'd like Waino to be on their too, but that's sort of a long shot. Haha.
