First on card auto.

I realize that, and I still think it is pretty high. Either way, nice sale for the seller!

Wow, that's a pretty high sale IMO, especially since he has so many other earlier cards. Regardless, if he gets hot again, someone will get even more, since he is going to be the next Pujols.

Personally, I'd prefer any of his 2005 or 2006 superfractor issues to that one, cause in my eyes, it's a fourth year card.

is it me or does it seem that the supers are getting worse when it comes to design? I liked the gold bordered supers better instead of the white border.

The Topps Chrome ones this year may be the nicest looking ones though.

An actual Chris Marrero 1/1 RC sold earlier today, the 2006 Bowman Heritage Black for about $40 delivered. I wish the Upton would come up.

Hmmm...2006 Bowman heritage 1/1 for $40 or 2009 bowman chrome fourth year auto 1/1 for $1200.

I think the $40 is the biggest no-brainer investment if you are going to purchase Marrero. I would have paid $80 for that 2006 bowman 1/1.

I don't think I would pay over $200 for the fourth year superfractor auto.

Oh well, the seller really must have thought he got a steal, either that, or he actually thought the 2009 was his first card!!

I passed on the original BIN for the Superfractor, was a little surprised someone hit it, no way I'd pay more, like $1200. I might have gone after the Bowman Heritage Black if I'd known it would stay as low as it did, but I watched it tick down and expected snipes to come in, but they never did. With about 10 seconds to go I thought "Hmm, maybe I should get a bid in on this.", but I'm not a big Marrero fan, so no biggy.
