Christmas Boxes

I talked my mom into getting me a box of bowman chrome and topps chrome from 2009. She said that'd be fine.

So she just won some money at the casino. Should I try and get better boxes (around $75-$100 each) or go for an extra chrome box or older cheap box?

What would you guys ask for?

I think i would go for a extra chrome that's about it.

My mom and dad got me a few boxes for xmas too cant wait to open them on the 19th i love having early Christmas and its on my birthday so not much better.

We've been having the same luck in my family with shopping (only with Toys R Us). They have a buy one get one half off sale, and games were selling out the day after we decided what we needed.

I noticed blowout and atlanta had less than a case of Topps Chrome left, per the order pages; is this unusual given you can still buy cases of other years?

That could just be what's left of their inital order or their direct order from Topps. Unless it's a product that isn't going to sell, I'd imagine there's a good chance they may get more. Even if Topps is sold out, they can buy more cases from third parties, over-stock and what not......I know that is the case with a lot of the older stuff on D & A's- as a while back (they still might) they had a list of prices for buying cases from collector's. So like I said they may get more in, just may cost a bit more per box if it's not coming direct from Topps.
