Was back home at my parents place over the holidays looking over some of the cards from my childhood (easily 10k baseball & basketball cards from 80s, 90s, and early 2000s) and found some oddball stuff that I thought might interest some of the 90s player collectors! Only question I have is if this stuff is worth more sealed than if I crack them open and see which players are inside! Interested to hear everyone's thoughts!

Pretty much worth next to nothing. You might find a player or type collector who hasn't grabbed a single yet, but they are not likely going to spend much for any of them. Those are the kind of products you can still find for under $5 a box quite frequently. I partook in a couple of each myself at the local card shop discount table!!

The only difference is the copyright on the back says 1989 on the test issues and 1990 on the regular.

Oops. Would've helped if I remembered to add that to my original post. :) The checklist between the test and regular version is different, as well. Burks wasn't part of the 1990 release.

thanks for the note about heads up - I'll have to go check the ones in the box I busted. Very likely normal release because I probably wouldn't have been able to buy them dirt cheap if those were test versions.

For OP, might as well open them. I don't think I paid more than $5 or $10 for my box of Heads Up so it's unlikely to be a gold mine you are sitting on regarding your unopened box.
