We're talking FY cards, not RCs. Most every player has had FY cards from their minor league team. These were certainly not over produced, but only sought by certain collectors.

It still remains to be seen whether the demand for MiLB cards of first ballot HOFers will be great. In the past this has certainly not been the case. From what we have seen so far, FY card prices have stagnated and even dropped as time has gone on.

Overproduction explains a lot of the lack of demand for rookie cards of the past. That's why Chrome stuff, with controlled print runs, can't be compared to current HOFer FY's.

Leading the NL in walks....still a good pitcher though, but walks are definitely a problem.
His walk rate is a bit high, which is something he needs to work on...although when you give up as few hits as Kershaw does, it is not as much of a problem as it first seems...

His last start was fantastic with his 7IP and only 1BB....hopefully he can keep that up. [Now score him some runs, Dodgers! ]

I don't care for minor league cards, now or in the future; had no idea that's where you brought this Clayton Kershaw is a stud thread.

I hear what your saying, but still, the fewer base runners the better. Kind of reminds me of Nolan Ryan a bit, who is of course the all-time leader in both SO and BB.

I understand, but what he does in walks he makes up for in hits. His WHIP is well above average, which means even though he is walking a lot not many hitters are getting on base. Good about the high walks is? Those will quickly go down as he matures and after that then.....WATCH OUT!
