I know I saw a thread about prepping chromes for slabbing but can't seem to find it, has anyone ever used a Jeweler's cloth on the surface of chrome before?
Thanks!

Slightly damp paper towel works for me.

This can scratch the surface.

The best thing to use is a microfiber lens cleaning cloth, which comes with any pair of new glasses or can be purchased through any camera equipment store.

3M makes one for glasses, and a bigger one for electronics (same material, just bigger).

I've used those, too. Between me and my son, we have about 4 cloths, plus I got one with my iPod Touch, so that works, too.

I would recommend a Brillo pad, industrial solvent, and a couple shots of 151 for this year's Topps Chrome.

You should buy some of those clothes and sell them along with your supplies, that question comes up all the time.
