Closing in on 500 posts-Free Giveaway!!

Well I'm closing in on 500 posts and wanted to host a little giveaway.

I love this site, and everyone has been so nice and helpful on here since the time I've joined.

I feel like the football boards don't get as much attention as the baseball ones, but maybe this will get some more people involved. (Free stuff always seem to draw people out of the woodwork lol).

This is a random giveaway. Everyone who posts will be entered into a list on random.org and the person on top of that list after randomizing three times will be the winner.The only catch is, if you decide to post and want to be in the drawing for the card you must say something positive about a member on here or something that you really enjoy about the site or the interactions you have had on it.

Now I know it's not the nicest card in the world, but I'm a college kid and can't really afford to give away high end stuff lol. However, I feel like this is a pretty nice card of a hall of famer.

In case you can't tell from the pic it's a 2007 Topps Triple Threads Eric Dickerson Patch. It's numbered 7/27 and it reads 2,105 yds.Hopefully everyone enjoys this free little giveaway

Eric Dickerson is still the most under-rated RB of all-time...

I completely agree with you. He is extremely under-rated. When someone talks about how this guy and that guy is such a smooth runner I always bring up Dickerson and most people have no idea how easy he made the game look.

I love the MT and the new friends I've made there. Can't find a better group of guys to chat with.

When I was a TB (grades 7-9) Dickerson was the guy I tried to emulate.

Cool contest and nice card! I enjoy a lot of folks on this site for their various personalities. Josh Hamilton will verbally bash your head in, magic pappa for his generous ways, tonsofcommons for being a standup guy, astroburn who is a fellow bags collector. I could go on but there are a ton of great people on this site!

As a huge Dickerson fan and collector, I want that card!
With that being said, I enjoy this site because their is truly a vast amount of knowledge in regards to prospects, thanks to some of the people around here I know about players before they hit the bigs.

Keep it up guys! It's great to hear different things people like about the site and the interactions you all have had.

I would really like to at least grow this thread to a couple of pages before the giving the card away that way everyone has a chance to share what they like and have a chance at the card.

Congrats on 500 and very nice card for a contest. This is a great site with great members. I have learned alot more about collecting here and even great Ebay advice. The member All in Cards is a great member as he is always having contests for slots in group breaks. Very great guy.

Well not too many people seem interested in this giveaway

I thought it was an ok card for a giveaway and more people would have posted something they liked about the site but it just doesn't seem to be drawing much interest.

Im going to let this ride for another night and will random a name tomorrow and announce the winner.

500 posts really had nothing to do with why I started this giveaway. I just wanted to give something away and figured 500 posts would be a reason to give something away because if I didn't like the forum I would have no where near that many posts.

many people have been very helpful on here so I just wanted to give something back.

I don't really get the point of your post??? Congrats on the 20,000 posts I guess...? Guess that makes you cooler than me
