Chris Coghlan - 2B - FLA - May. 7 - 10:42 pm et
The Marlins will recall top prospect Chris Coghlan for Friday, according to the New Orleans Times Picayune.
Coghlan will take the roster spot of injured pitcher Anibal Sanchez, according to Marlins assistant general manager Dan Jennings. Coghlan is having a Roy Hobbs-like streak going 20-for-36 with three homers, 16 RBI and 12 runs-scored in just the past 10 games. He will see time in both the outfield and at second base. May. 7 - 10:42 pm et

Totally invalid comparison, Roy Hobbs didn't walk or steal as much as Coghlan does, and Hobbs had far more power.

no
Not everyone on a major league roster is a starter.

Based on his production last year....that seemed like a great value. I even snagged a BGS 9.5 xfractor for under $10 shipped.
My only concern was the Fish finding playing time for him....I hope he doesn't sit on the bench and gather dust.
