And although h K'd a lot I think this was a nice stint for Mat who has shown extra base and home run power while up with the Brewers. Let's get him everyday AB's.

Re: Brewers Trade For Felipe Lopez

I can dig it.
Lopez is pretty awesome, and many dbacks fans would consider him a team favorite. He's entering his prime, and given a chance to be a regular starter on the Brewers (which may or may not be the case), I see great things.
Gillespie is your average OF prospect with brief glimpses of above average-ness, and Mercedes (although he hasn't started this year) could still be a starter, and if not, a decent bullpen guy - which is always nice to have.
Either way, he's a good pitcher who should be fun to keep an eye on for dback prospectors.

I'd imagine Lopez is our new lead-off guy. I'd also imagine there's going to be another move by the Brewers pretty soon.

Well, Felipe liked being traded midway through last year (batted .385 for the Cardinals in 40+ games), but hopefully he doesn't do as good for the Brewers.
