Well FCB members can basically list for free on CR so right there you take any fees away. Not as many views on CR but since its free you can keep it up for a long time. No auctions yet so its a little hard to compare. More of a selection on ebay of course but CR is still in its infancy

We're still a young site so inventory doesn't compare to the sites that have been around for a while. However, as a seller, if you're willing to leave your stuff up there, people will come by. In my experience, if you've got what people are looking for, they'll make a competitive offer. Here are some examples of things I've sold in the past few weeks:

http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27437
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27515
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27267
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/26179
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/26787

All of those are very competitive with ebay prices, not to mention the fact that I don't have to pay any fees on the sale. I've also sold hundreds of low dollar 90's and 2000's inserts I've sold on there that wouldn't even have garnered 1 bid on ebay. We're still working to improve the site but as is, it's probably the best combination of a site that allows you to display your inventory and not pay any fees.

great stuff... the fees on ebay dont bother me as much as the stupid offers and non paying bidders... what are the penalties for not paying? and can you penalize someone for being stupid if i ask?

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about people who make lowball offers and non payers. You can just ignore them and move on. We do take action against non payers and there is a strict non tolerance policy for this.

Once more people list/buy stuff, it will be awesome... but still, there are virtually no fees, so I can't complain.

I think one thing people have to realize is that it's more of a store-type format than a sell-your-stuff-off-quick site. I've had my whole inventory (about 2000 cards) on the site since the beginning and I've sold about 300. It would be unreasonable to list cards for a week or two and expect them all to sell.

ok listed one card so far... so what the hell i will spam it! the credits confused me at first but i wasnt that smart to begin with. so i chalked it up to user error. does the amount of credits you use very based on the price of the card? also thanks for the input its easier for me to do it this way than read... i would be asleep by now!

Yes, the number of credits required to list an item depends on it's starting price. I've added 100 credits to your account so that one was on us.
