I found a couple Gwynn cards on CR, went off without a hitch! Easy, fun, it had a good beat and it was easy to dance to.

We're still a young site so inventory doesn't compare to the sites that have been around for a while. However, as a seller, if you're willing to leave your stuff up there, people will come by. In my experience, if you've got what people are looking for, they'll make a competitive offer. Here are some examples of things I've sold in the past few weeks:

http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27437
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27515
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/27267
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/26179
http://www.collectorrevolution.com/item/index/26787

All of those are very competitive with ebay prices, not to mention the fact that I don't have to pay any fees on the sale. I've also sold hundreds of low dollar 90's and 2000's inserts I've sold on there that wouldn't even have garnered 1 bid on ebay. We're still working to improve the site but as is, it's probably the best combination of a site that allows you to display your inventory and not pay any fees.

Are auction titles entered by the seller (like on eBay) or are they automatically created based on card attributes? I ask this because I am curious as to why the Desmond Jennings gold refractor is labeled as an auto.

Just joined, this seems like a good site. Is there still a bonus for credits for signing up?

They're entered by the seller. Must have copied and pasted and forgotten to delete the auto part.

JVC, for some reason it won't allow me to upload pictures to any of the cards that I have listed. I tried doing it right after the bulk upload, and then again in an original posting but neither work. I find the picture, click upload, the page loads but the picture remains blank

Try adding pictures on this page after the listings are up: http://www.collectorrevolution.com/account/bulklist

You can also add pictures from a photobucket account from this page. You would use the direct link option rather than the IMG code that you use here.

Fees/owner wise it's better than eBay. The owner gave me 50 free credits the other day. I have since listed two cards, and I now have 40 credits remaining.

Thanks. Using the direct link made it work. Appreciate the help

I just sold something on ebay for the first time in a while and jesus christ, the final value fees were INSANE. I really just hope a site like collectorrevolution blows up because eBay fees are truly unbelievable and should not be tolerated... 12% of a fixed price auction?

I have bought/sold over 125 things on CR and it truly can be a great resource. If you see the eBay fees these days, you should be scared. 8.75% final value fees on cards under $25, and 12% on fixed price listings is ridiculous.

If you are serious about selling stuff and list them at competitive prices, people will buy and you will save a ton on feed.

Jeff and team have done a great job

I too can speak very highly about the site and Jeff. I have sold over 50 items thus far, and will continue to list more items in the coming weeks. The sellers I have bought from havew been very professional.

And the only thing it is truly missing is more members (and much more in other sports like basketball). That's the only reason people continue to buy and sell on ebay... members.
