I want to get your opinions on which you think may be the better option.

I have about 300 cards that range from low end to mid end. Basically cards that may sell between $0.50 to $50. I was originally going to send everything off to COMC for the 1 week deal at $0.35 each. Then I got an email today stating I can pay the ebay store fee and list my cards for $0.20 each which would actually come out to less than the total cost that COMC would charge me. However COMC doens't charge me any ending fees, but they do charge I believe a 20% cash out fee. I haven't really crunched the numbers between the two, but I would assume that COMC would still come out ahead in terms of "fees".

eBay in my opinion would have a lot more exposure for my cards opposed to COMC and once the hot cards sell, then the rest of the cards sit in my account and accrue a storage fee after 3 months.

So in your opinion, do you think it would be better to have an eBay store or just send everything off to COMC? Another thing to consider as well. I deleted all of my scans of these cards figuring that I was just going to send to COMC in the first place. So if I did decide to use the eBay store, I would have to rescan everything.

I would appreciate your thoughts and/or experiences with either. Thank you.

I like COMC. Lets say for instance over 3 months you have 150 "hot" cards sell, you can then offer a port sale which makes it possible to receive an offer for the rest of your less desirable cards in one lot. Port sales usually sell for maybe 20% of book value but its nice kinda wiping your account clean. Plus if you find good deals with your store credit you can even go and sell what you bought for the same price you paid and sorta avoid the 20% cash out fee.

Great insight. Also great point about the store credit and buying a few cards and avoiding the 20% cash out fee. I think after reading this, I will stick to COMC (then I don't have to rescan everything!). Thank you.
