Penn is the man at lightweight!! NO DOUBT.

And I wouldn't say GSP Destroyed Penn. THat's a little extreme!
GSP's size and strenght overpowered Penn, but there was little damage. There was no destoying there.

GSP vs Penn 2 was about as lopsided as 4 rounds could be. I mean, BJ just quit. He got tired or GSP doing anything he wanted at will, so he didn't come out for the 5th. Which saddened me. I was a Penn fan all the way until that fight. But the aftermath put me off to him so much I can't stand him anymore. He called Georges a bitch and a quitter, and he ******* out and quit. He should have attempted to finish the fight, and the only reason he didn't is because he knew if he came out for the 5th round he would be finished and he didn't want that.

Great display by BJ. Literally Diego had nothing for him.
Diego though finally turned me into a fan of his.
I was warming up to him recently. He still came out for round 5 when he was down 4 rounds to 0. He was surviving on heart and will to survive. Nothing else. And the crazy thing?
If the dr would have let him continue, I have no doubt he would have.
Very tough guy.

Yeah JZ, I hated Diego for the longest time, and made it no secret.

But his last three or four fight turned me into a fan of his. He's just too good to hate on any longer.

Sure, he had NOTHING for Penn, but he never gave up, never surrendered, and came back out for that 5th round all hyped up and ready for some banging.

Which is more than I can say for BJ in his similar situation with Georges. BJ showed no heart, his will was broken, so he just quit.

I don't think we will ever see Diego quit. If there ever was an instance where he would have, it would have been in that fight. But he didn't.

Everyone knows the type of warrior he is after that fight, fan or not, nobody can deny that.

I read somewhere that Diego had 27 takedown attempts. Not one successful attempt. That he apparently landed only 3 shots the entire 5 rounds. :shock:
