Conference Tournament week

Did not see anything, but thought I would start a thread where we can discuss this weeks Conference tournaments.

I'll start off by saying Calhoun was right... Uconn gave up. With their talent no way they should of lost by 22 points to St.Johns :shock:

Boston University pulls the upset this Saturday at Vermont and grabs the America East conference bid! (...and then will get stomped like a NARC at a biker rally in the first round.)

Some Big East shake-ups but nothing was too traumatic.

Syracuse OUT
Pittsburgh OUT
Villanova OUT

Final four teams:
Cincy/WVU (Going on now)
Notre Dame
Georgetown
Marquette

I'll be at MSG on Saturday to see games (Championship Game)

Haven't seen the tickets yet so not sure where I will be sitting..

Should be intereting to see how many teams the Big 12 and ACC get in.

ANOTHER loss for Texas, there isn't any way they don't still make tournament is there? Also, both Wake and Clemson went down today, does that hurt their bids? Wake especially got HAMMERED!

So far, there hasn't been many surprise winners from the smaller conference tourney to take away at-large bids from the BCS conferences, but teams like those can't feel too sure about dancing just yet.

And I still can't get over the PAC-10 only get their automatic bid if CAL wins their tourney.

Hopefully the SEC can get 4 teams in the tourny this year but it ain't lookin good. And Kentucky's chances of making the final four are starting look gloomy. They have yet to play a solid 40 minutes of basketball this year, and Cal can't coach. He may be able to recruit, but he can't coach.

Well my Jackets are DEFinitely in after wins over MD and NCSt. And Wassou winning probably gives the PAC-10 a second bid, barely.

All these close games for potential #1 seeds is a sign of how open the tourney will be. So far, Kentucky has been the only highly-ranked team to dominate it's tourney after blasting UT today. Should be another great NCAA tourney, like last year, after a couple of duds before that.

I am worried about Jennifer Hudson (Showgirls) doing a new "One Shining Moment" version for the tourney-ending video montage that CBS does every year.
