I too would like to congratulate the Canadian Women's hockey team.

I didn't see the game but they had the game on at the restaurant I ate dinner at and they were handing out the Medals so at least I saw that.

I personally don't have a problem with it, but alot of folks are ticked at their "celebration" afterward on ice. It was a bit much, especially since they were the favorites all along anyway.

I don't think it was too much, but I heard some were complaining that Poulin had a beer, and she is underage.

I heard many of them were skating around with beers and cigars. Come on....that's the Canadian way :P

The US were the favourites as they came in as the World Champs and they won the Canada challenge cup (Or whatever it was called) in September.


I didn't see the celebration after the medals were given out, what happened?

I just posted it above. They drank beers and smoked cigars.

I heard they did this after everyone had left. They basically did the celebration on the ice instead of the dressing room, the only thing different is they brought it out of the dressing room. What's the big deal?
