To me that is a bit excessive and ridiculous, I realize others may not think that and that's fine and that's your opinion. The thing i keep coming back to is that I am a Red Sox fan, and a fan of a team with a high payroll and it still seems excessive, so i can only imagine how fans of other teams feel and i just don't see how this is good for baseball - other than it seems that next year they'll be two types of baseball fans - Yankees fans and everyone else that wants to see them lose.
