am I the only cynical ass who tends to ignore most positive reviews, because they are probably bs anyway?

I find that people don't go out of their way to give genuine praise, whereas they will take the time when they are pissed.

Actually the positive reviews mean nothing when it comes to interaction with people. Most people only leave reviews when they are angry, so positive reviews are usually there when the shop has something to do with it.

When it does matter is in rankings. With 50 positive reviews, if you look for card shop in Georgia, FCB will likely show up high on the list because of the number of high reviews. When is comes to search, if you fall to the 2nd page it is like you do not exist at all. But if FCB shows up in the top 3 when people search for card shop, it will most certainly lead to more traffic.

More traffic in the card shop also means more traffic on the forum.

Pete J- Great cardshop for all of your 1991 Fleer commons needs. I found #40 Bob Kipper for only one dollar! I can't wait wait to go back with my wantlist of 1988 Topps and go through all the 50,000 count boxes of commons! And if you have commons, bring them down! The owner would love to go through each one individually and tell you the book value for each!
