Doing on of my many searches for Beaubois cards and found something new.

Very nice looking card. My only issue with the sample images was that the ink seemed to be bubbling on the autos, but this seems to be in good shape.

I approve.

Any guesses on the SP's yet? Looks like the big names are tough pulls.

He's out of France and hasn't gotten a ton of playing time behind Kidd this year. When he has gotten minutes he's put up some nice numbers. I've read multiple scouting reports that say Rondo type body (wingspan of 6'-10"), Tony Parker speed, and shoots better than both. I agree that he does have a nice signature, but unfortunately it doesn't go well on stickers since he usually writes outside the edge of the sticker. It's nice to see a clean on card full signature.

Think that's about on par with what his other rc's are going for.

I honestly think these are the nicest set Panini has done so far. Actual "true rc's", not a million confusing parallels and on-card auto's. IMO these will probably end up one of the top couple rc's each player will have (probably with National Treasures, and if Panini decides to do anything else high end).

I agree. For all the reasons I listed above, to me these would be their definitive RC at this point.
Maybe it simply has to do with something I was commenting on a few months ago, and that is the fact that (at least to me) the Bball portion of this hobby seems to be worse off then any other sport.

I know I already commented on Jennings.....but could also be that people are finally starting to jump off the bandwagon. I've actually been surprised his stuff hadn't begun to drop a bit more sooner, but it looks like his stuff may have come down to a reasonable area for the time being.

It clearly says it's an SP?. Those go for big money!

Let a couple end and you'll get a good price. The first few Beaubois ended between 20 and 30. I won mine for $5.25.

Yeah, I'm going to wait a few out. Two are at auction right now, and one is already nearing $20 with a day or so remaining. Another one ended for about $100 in a 2-card-lot with a Blake Griffin contenders auto.
I think every contenders auto up now says "SP" or "SP?" in the title. :lol:

You never know - depending on the print run and if people are trying to complete the b-ball set, that could be a steal.

In this year's football there was a guy that I don;t even think is on an active roster - and he only had one card up. It sold for $200. A couple weeks later it came out that it was sp'd to 20 something. The next one sold for around $1000.

Aaron Kellys were limited to like 20 or something ridiculous. ::facepalm::
There have already been 4 teagues up (including the ones up now), but I think the buyer of the $100 card is thinking what you said.
