I'd like to see Hamilton win it for the story of it and Nelson Cruz and Napoli so they get some recognition for very good careers so far...

Nick Punto. A gamer for the Twins, and also a scapegoat for the Twins. I'm not a big fan of his, but I'd absolutely love to see him get a ring because he has worked incredibly hard and doesn't have all the "tools" that some MLB'ers have.

Thanks for the contest !

Adrian Beltre. Guy was a class act in Boston and would have been re-signed if the trade for Gonzalez wasn't in the works

Gonna go with Michael Young.

Glad he stuck around after the mess of him almost leaving in spring training.

Thanx for the contest!

Rafeal Furcal. I was a fan while he was here in Atlanta. Its always nice to see an ex-Brave finally win a World Series!

Doing a player draft over in the box break boards. We are going to bust 1 case of 2011 Finest and 1 case of 2011 Topps Chrome. 200 slots - $9 for first slot/$8 for each one thereafter.

If you are curious as to how it works, feel free to ask any questions.

Anyway, I'm giving away a slot for free.

To enter, simply post which PLAYER from the Cardinals/Rangers you would be happiest for if they won a World Series ring this year. Explanations are not necessary but would be nice.

I'd like to see any member of the Cards win one. My Dodgers arent in it, so I try to stick with the NL.

Josh Hamilton. I was a fan when he was drafted by the Rays and followed him until he left baseball. Glad he cleaned himself up and got back into the game years ago. I would love to see him earn his first World Series ring.

Josh Hamilton, after all he has endured. It would be nice to see him get a ring. Fantastic player.

My vote goes to Pujols simply because I like to see the Greats get the rings.

Michael Young. Great player. Dude has been yanked around the last few years. He's also an ex-Blue Jay.

Arthur Rhodes...never won one and this is most likely his last chance.

Wonder if he'll end up like Molina, and get one regardless of which team wins. Sure hope so.

Along similar lines, Darren Oliver would be nice.
