1. The memories of my dad and I opening packs and building sets.
2. The same memories I'm building with my two sons doing the same.
3. The absolute love of baseball.
4. Seeing new cards and designs each and every year.

7. Following the hot prospects even if we can't afford to get some of the bigger names.
8. The rush of opening packs.
9. The feeling I get when I see the smiles on the boys faces when adding a new card to their collection.

1. Love the history of the sport and the characters that make the sport (Mantle, Ozzie, Ripken, Gherig, etc).
2. I have a little bit more money now than I did when I was 12.
3. Opening packs and getting nothing, but still thrilled at my "nothing."
4. The chance to find an idiot like Charlie Sheen in a pack of cards.
5. Really enjoy the honest collectors who like to trade or give away, regardless of dollar value.
6. Hope to one day pass the hobby onto my kids (if I ever have any).
7. Love the smell of fresh card board.
8. Watching player succeed and make it to the big leagues.
9. Pretending to know what I'm talking about when talking about prospects.
10. Reading trolls on message boards and wondering why they have nothing better to do then comment on EVERY SINGLE DAMN POST.

!) Easy access to build pc.
2.) Thrill of opening packs/boxes/cases
3.) Making connections with other collectors.
4.) Easy to sell to others to build funds for pc.
5.) Anticipation of waiting for shipped items from Ebay or online sportscard stores.
6.) Anticipation of waiting for pc items to arrive.
7.) Reading the FCB message boards.
8.) Ability to work out deals where both parties are happy.
9.) Challenge of finding cards for pc at the right price point.
10.) Memories of opening cards with my dad and brothers and recounting stories.

1. Comeraderie.
2. Finding more '69 Mets stuff.
3. Meeting people with tremendous hobby knowledge without leaving my recliner.
4. Seeing that others share my passion of collecting as opposed to prospecting.
5. Seeing the off-the-wall & oddball items I had no idea existed.
6. Being able to send something to a collector that I know will make their day and they have no idea who sent it.
7. Being reminded of my childhood by looking at pieces of cardboard with people who play a game for a living.
8. Reading about established collectors getting their children inteterested.
9. Reading about folks who bust huge amounts of wax and post pics so I can live thru their success.
