Thanks for the contest.

My favorite would be from back in 2003. NLCS Cubs - Marlins Game 1. Bottom of the 9th, two outs with Kenny Lofton on base, Sosa hits a homer to tie the game. Cubs would lose in 11 innings, but I just remember having a holy shat moment watching the ball fly into the bleachers, and being excited and surprised at the same time thinking the game was probably over.

Mine has to be the Bloody sock - Shilling keeping the Sox alive with that ankle to lead them to their first WS championship in 86 frackin years. In my mind it was an amazing performance.
Thanks for the contest.

Gibson's HR in 88'. Flat out best WS HR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember it well. It was a storybook ending that couldn't have been scripted any better. His one and only AB in the whole series and it was a bottom of the ninth 2 run shot to win. I remember jumping up and down in my studio apartment and screaming. It has been 22 years and counting :(

Thanks for the contest !

Joe Carter off Mitch Williams

My dad told me that Carter was gonna hit the HR. I told him, "No way, Williams will K him". Carter hit the HR, I cried.

I was 13 and that was the last WS we watched together ...

Tough choice:

Want to say the Angels FINALLY winning the whole enchilada in 2002, but will have to go with a common response, Gibson's homer.

Was watching the game with my late mom and we were going CRAZY when he smacked it.

She wasn't able to see the Angels win it all, but I know she would have been over the moon. :)

Sorry, as a young, mis-guided soul, game 6 of the '86 Series was unreal to watch. I have learned the error of my Mets-loving ways tho'.

Joe Carter's walk-off HR in the World Series is very memorable for me.

Re: Contest for 2 Slots in 2010 Topps Update Case Break/Boxes

My dad and I attended game 5 of the 2003 NLDS between the Cubs and Braves in Atlanta. The crowd was electric with thousands of Cubs fans hoping that they would win their first postseason series since the 1908 World Series. On the strength of an Alex Gonzalez home run and an outstanding start by Kerry Wood, the Cubs won the game. After the game, we were interviewed by a local radio station in Illinois about what it meant to us to be there and I got to share how special it was to share that moment with my Dad. After the game, we ran into Nick Anderson and Michael Jordan (both wearing Cubs jerseys) and got to talk to Nick for about 5 minutes after the game (my dad is an Illinois alum, where Anderson starred in college). Altogether it was one of the best nights of my life.

Braves 1995 WS Championship versus the Indians from David Justice's 6th inning homer off Jim Poole.
Sid Bream running through the stop sign at 3rd base to score the series clenching run for the Braves 92 NLCS
Andruw Jones' 2 WS homeruns in 1996 versus the Yanks

Thanks for the contest
