So I'm trying to come up with a name for the interviews on my blog at http://therion.today.com. As previously announced I have secured several interviews but I want to give it a name that isn't just "Player Interviews".

The only rule is that it can not be copyrighted. For example "Rounding the Bases with..." is copyrighted and not usable. I don't need ESPN threatening to sue my little blog

The prize is three Jeff Bagwell GU cards and some additional cards depending on what you collect and if I have anything you could use.

Also, I have added a new contributing writer and would gladly accept a couple more writers as long as they didn't mind having me edit their pieces for grammar and fact checking (even if I've made a couple mistakes myself lately). If anyone is interested, drop me a PM.

The contest will run until roughly midnight Central Time.

Contest over. Time for bed! Thanks for all of the entries. PM sent to the winner!

Re: Contest. Name That Feature.

There's always the popular "On deck with (insert name)..."

or

"Spit-ball...talkin' shop with (insert name)..."

"Removing the Tarp" featuring ....

Gives the impression of a rain-delay interview, or peeling back the tarp to find something fresh underneath.

"Fungos" featuring ....

A bunch of "pop-up" questions for the player to field.

A call to the bullpen. - Probably wouldn't work since I'm assuming you're not only interviewing Relief Pitchers...

Hit and Run.

Take your base.

Balls and Strikes with...

Turning two with...

Just throwing ideas out there lol. Probably sound stupid, but that's ok.
