Hello everyone and welcome to the first installment of "Zac will give away a card of a player featured in his article for 100 views on his sportsblog page." Long title, yes, but it gets the point across.
I have been writing my own articles at From Under the Bleachers and it's a lot more enjoyable to do when you know you have people who are actually reading it. I get an average of 20 people reading because I haven't put my name out there or anything. I have a lot of fun taking the time to do research, look up stats, putting the pieces together to make it look as professional as I can. Anyway, we're all concerned about the CONTEST aspect of it all.
At this very moment, I can see that I have 250 unique views on my SportsBlog page. I want to be able to get at least 100 viewers per article I write. If I can add those 100 views within a 3 day period, everyone who comments will have their chance at winning a prize that is themed with the article. I am not telling everyone about the opportunity to win a prize. I AM ONLY TELLING THE MEMBERS OF FCB and BLOWOUT. So, without further ado, let me explain how this first one will work:
I posted an article at 47 Days.... All you have to do is read it and leave a comment saying something about the article. Harsh criticism, constructive, what was wrong, what you liked, etc...It's a comment. If after 3 whole days have passed, from now through Tuesday at Midnight, I have received an additional 100 views, everyone who commented will have the opportunity to win the card listed at the bottom of this post.
BONUS
Use the button on the article to share via Facebook or Twitter and receive an extra 2 names in the hat. So, comment and share = 3 chances to win.
Hopefully this goes well and I can get enough participants for this to work. Like I said, the contest is only being announced here and Blowout but I also share the page on Twitter and Facebook myself...but they don't know they need to comment. Thanks a lot guys! Hopefully this helps get me rolling!
