The funny thing was the guy had come into sell his collection because he was tired of not pulling anything out of packs, but all he ever bought was retail from Wal Mart and target. My shop is fairly new and this was his first time in. So we talked for a while and he ended up buying a mini box of Finest. Needless to say I think I picked up a new customer, he was very happy!!!

All it takes is a nice hobby shop pull to get someone off of retail forever. I used to buy blasters hand-over-fist at Target, pulling the occasional jersey card. On a whim, I bought a few packs of UD Baseball Heroes at one of the shops in town, pulled a Cal Ripken Jr auto /10, and never looked back at retail since.

Good to know that you saved a collector!!
