That was awesome...I think I was most impressed with how flawlessly he executed the roll after the leap.

Very Cool - I think the coach / manager had to argue because he did not know what else to do

Awesome.I love playing on that Fordham turf field,it must have hurt as that durt around the plate is actually hard clay which hurts when running on it I cant imagine how much it hurt to land head first on it.

Yea, I played there too and my knees are screaming after catching a game.

The best place to play if there is a rain delay though. The turf can take on a bunch of water amd be good right after it passes.

Yeah it was great after rain. There was a HUGE thunderstorm and we waited in the gym for about 2hrs, the rain stops and 5 minutes later the field is ready to go.

I seriously wonder why people don't do this more often. I have done something similar before (the catcher was not standing, but had to drop to his knees for the relay from the second baseman), and wonder why it's not a seriously considered option when someone comes to the plate. It's an easy score because nobody expects that.

No kidding since the catcher wasn't even close to tagging him.

While that jump was incredible from last night's game, this one is my all-time favorite.
