Marlins got a solid arm for LoMo. Works out well for them.

I'd bet some money that Morrison is going to have a breakout 2014. He's healthy for the first time in a long time and I think a change of scenery will be great for him.

As a LoMo fan I was hoping he'd end up with a bigger market team or an immediate contender, but it's nice to see the Ms already making some noise and bolstering their lineup.

So, will Seattle have any picks in the draft next year?

EDIT: beyond their protected first pick I guess I mean. Herein lies one of the major problems with payroll disparity in the MLB. Seattle can suck royally, go out the next year and sign whoever they want and their 1st round pick is protected. Meanwhile, Milwaukee can suck, just not enough. Then, they have barely enough money to sign one middling FA (Loshe) and, oh-by-the-way, get to lose their 1st round pick because, again, they didn't suck quite enough.

That's all the Marlins got for Morrison?? A hard throwing middle relief pitcher?? Didn't realize his value was that low....Good trade for the Mariners! Hope they do well in 2014. Hart was a good signing too, I think he'll have a great season. Low risk/high reward...I would imagine he was the Red Sox backup plan to Mike Napoli.

25 plus? No way.

More like 15-20. I don't know this for sure but I remember seeing that Safeco is NOT a hitters park.

I think you are correct, but neither was Sun Life when the Marlins played there the year he hit 23. I may be way off but I still think he's a better player than he's shown so far in his young career which is why I'm estimating on the high side. Gotta have some faith!

I agree that I think LoMo could be solid for the M's but I just think 25 is too high. I think a season of 275 20 75 would be a nice year for someone who you only gave up Capps for.
