So I have had these in my closet since I was 12. I used to be a member of a video game trading website where I would trade old video games for games I wanted currently. One day I thounght about trading some Playstation One video games for some baseball cards back when Playstation one was about done and the PS2 was about to come out. So I traded some games to a guy and he sent some cards to me for the Playstation one games. I only gave about 5 or 6 Playstation one games and I thought wonder what kind of cards I will get but when I got them I was in shock. Now my question is what should I do with these? Would it be worth the trouble to grade them and see what kind of value they would have one day. I just really dont know what to do with any of these. Some of them I given to my dad since he lost his old collection but I have them with me today and I was wondering if you all think I should grade them or authenticate them or something. Would love some intake or any advice you have.

i would say if you got them authenticated they would defiantly get more money. I would suggest starting out with the bigger ones first and see how they go, then do the rest. As long as you know they are authentic i would get them done. some of the newer ones might not be worth getting done but you never know

Some look more "authentic" then others in the group

I would be curious what JSA would say about them

A lot of them appear to be legit, especially the Rizzutos. The Mantle looks a little wonky though, specifically the "ant".

dont waste your money with the Mantle. It dont look authentic and it would be a waste of your money (100$ for the mantle alone).

Thanks alot for the info guys. I am leaning on going to one of the Chantilly shows in DC where I think JSA usually has a booth there as I got a Heath Miller autographed Helmet authenticated after I got it signed. But yeah I will take a look into it as I really wanna know if these are real or not. I mean trading them for 5-6 Playstation One games is like no loss to me because no one even wants ps one games anymore haha. So yeah I will look into it as I really wanna know about it. If anyone else has anymore insight on these dont hesitate as Id love to hear from more of you about these. Does anyone know if there is someone on this site that has alot of knowledge on authenticating stuff or could give me alot of advice on them. I know alot of you already have and I apprecite it. Anyone know how much it would cost to get the Rizzutos Slaughter and Mantle looked at? I know someone already said dont waste my time with the mantle but really curious about it. Because I know that Mantle passed away in 94 and im guessing this particular card of mantle was signed not too long probably before he passed away.

If you want to throw money away feel free. But it costs either $7 for a psa quick opinion which don't necessarily mean its real, as I had ones which passed quick opinion fail once it was in there hands. which would cost you $100.00 for Mickey Mantle. You would need to make it an ebay auction with a silly buy it now ($3,000) and then go to psadna.com and follow the instructions for a quick opinion. But like I said in order to sell it anywhere for top dollar you need a coa from psa or jsa which is NOT a quick opinion print out. This costs 100$ for Mantle alone. This service is not available for jsa, for them you just hand them $100.00 for the Mantle and somewhere like $40.00- $ 60.00 for the Rizzuto's (also I am very skeptical of the 1948 bowman something isnt right with that one IMO) .

But I am telling you as a person who collects Yankee autographs and as a person who owns several Mantle autographs that is not authentic. While I am not a professional you dont need to be with that one its extremely off.

^^^agree...

most aren't worth the grading fees.

i would do a psa/dna quick opinion on the mantle for $7, you don't have much to lose.
