they are multisport 'album cards' issued 4 cards at a time to boys in the early 1930s by Rogers Peet, a clothing store on East Coast Positive, they are scarce overall, and your Cobb a nice one for sure.... and there are only a few cards issued showing him in an A's uniform even though this card is not contemporary to that Era... Neg there is only 8 baseball players of the 44 cards in set and many are found glued into the album issued with cards. Neg many players are not contemporary to the issue year (aka retired players), ie Cobb, Johnson, Speaker etc. Neg not a popular set for set collectors because of the scarcity and the many unpopular non baseball cards in set, plus bland blank back design

PS. here is a 2 sided premium I have with the same Cobb A's image, these premiums are also non contemporary (from ca1948) and unrelated to Rogers Peet

thanks fkw, appreciate the info. pretty amazing this card is a 92.
cant be a lot of them in one piece out there.
and to the losers at blowout, i bought 2 boxes from a case that customers picked, after
they didnt want anymore after 1st box. i have never shilled or knowingly sold anything fake,
so keep making up your stories and bumping my threads, love the added views.

its just a small card with a blank back.
almost like a cutout from a sales flyer maybe.

That Cobb is on top of my wantlist and has been for awhile now but Im hoping for a lesser grade as thats too pricey for me now. Also if you check VCP (vintagecardprices.com) it will give you a full history of this cards past sales. GL with your auction!
