Cracking down the PC: 2004 Leaf Exhibits

The Donruss Studio Portraits thread with all its variants inspired me to do this thread.

I was looking over the checklist and it only has 50 cards (yet some players have more than one team like Nolan Ryan and Reggie Jackson).

All of these cards seemed to be #'d lower than 70 - the ones I have are #'d/21 to #'d/66, yet appear to be MANY different parallels based on the faux auto on the front or the print on the front (notice how all four ARods are different).

The parallels (the following also came in Leaf 2nd Edition, which featured the same cards, only blue toned and no serial numbers)

Doubling your parallel hell fun, remember that these also came in Leaf 2nd Edition, which featured the same cards, only blue toned and no serial numbers!

I never noticed they were numbered out of the last year. At least now the 5 or 6 I have actually make sense.

That's just insane...so you are saying on top of the 44 #'d inserts, there are 44 blue un #'d parallels?

I kinda like this set, well, at least when compared to the Studio Portraits. I find these very easy to identify, it just takes a little practice. I'm still not sure what it takes to tell the difference between Portraits cards.

are you going for the entire set starting with 24? that makes it like 30 times as hard...
