Fellow vintage collectors,
Last night I had an intresting idea and I am about 50/50 on whether or not if it is worth it. This is where you guys can help me decide which is the better course of action. As most of you know I am trying to complete a 1955 Topps set in PSA 7 or better. Well, I was looking at some 55's in SGC cards on Ebay. I started to really like the way the cards look in the slab against the black borders. It really brings out the colors of the set.
So, my question is this, should I start to cross-over my entire PSA set to SGC. I know that I would get more money for my set if I keep them in PSA slabs vs SGC slab. However, I will NEVER sell my set for any amount of money due to the amount of time I spent trying to complete the set. If you have any experience with cross-over grading with SGC whether it was a good experience or a bad one please give me some insight on this. Also, what are the costs involved and how would they "regrade my card" I would apperciate any information.
