Time to resurrect the Cubs pickup thread. I've scanned in bunch of stuff that I've picked up over the last few months. I'll start off with a few to get things rolling again...

Nice on-card Dawson

Decided to get PSA 9 Cubs for the 1970 Kelloggs set that I'm bringing towards competion. Here's the Williams:

And here's the Banks:

And here's a couple of modern Ernie inserts. I usually keep it to autos and cards issued during his career, but I love the Topps parallels this year so the Hope Diamond was a no-brainer. I also have always liked the Gold Label player worn jacket card due to the design and that it commemorates an aspect of his career (back to back MVPs)

And finally a good buddy of mine sketched a Banks for me out of the kindness of his heart. It's a pretty cool card:

That is a good start for now. Hope to see some of my fellow Cubs fans' pickups to!

Great stuff gentlemen. I love that 2002 program with the Kerry Wood art, and the Wilson/Greenberg dual bat is amazing. I figured the triple base Grace had your name all over it when I saw it pop on eBay. Glad you got it.

Here's some more of my pickups.

Very pleased with finally obtaining this Fergie Jenkins Tribute AU/JER. Great looking card.

I found out that this Maddux in my binder is /10, which I had forgotten, so it's kind of a pickup...

Recently picked up a few Kerry Wood inserts, with this Crusade being the highlight

And I've been picking up Mark Grace inserts. Posting Grace items in this forum is like shining a flashlight at the sun, but here's the highlights anyway. :lol:

It's alive. The thread is alive. Awesome pick-ups, all. Here are a few that came in today. I was able to knock three more off the 90's list.

Not sure why the 1991 Super DK was so tough for me to find. I picked that, the Cubs Topps TV, and all these buttons/pins from a collector who is breaking up his Ryno collection.

Picked up a nice PSA 9 with great centering. A true Mint 9 card that really presents well.

Here are some of my Cubs pick-ups that haven't gotten around to scanning until recently.

I was missing a Dawson Cubs patch from my HOF collection, so this one fits right in.

Mark Grace is one of the few non-Sox, non-HOF guys that I wanted a button of.

I already had 2 of these, but I couldn't pass up part of a letter and part of the logo.

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this one yet, but I think it's the top of the 2 on the front of the jersey.

And finally, a Sosa batting glove card with stitching from his name.
