Cutting the window around a trapped auto

Hey guys, I know I know this is a basketball card but I think this topic applies to any Fleer or UD trapped auto card. I'm wondering how far the auto extends beyond the window so I can cut it to reveal more. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would think the face of the card with the window was glued to the auto not leaving much if any room.To be honest there's only one way to find out.
