he said someone offered him over 700 or something after the auction ended, and there was nothing he could do about it, "card has been sold"

We shall see. I figured others have emailed him, so I went the "it's OK, if you made a mistake" route. I really hope the seller gets an appropriate value.

While I agree that the Red 1/1 is the better end, it is worth nowhere near $2k..

Im having a hard time figuring out why people do this? Whats the point of listing it on Ebay if you have already come to an agreement? If its to boost feedback I see a pretty major flaw in that. Lets say he lists it, its only there for 3 minutes but someone else sees it before thr BIN is hit and they buy it. The buyer immediately pays and is then told of what the situation was, that the card was only listed with another deal already in place. the buyer becomes irate and files dispute with Ebay that the person isnt fulfilling their end of the deal because their making deals outside of Ebay for an item listed on Ebay. would that not get the seller kicked off Ebay? I know its against their policy. The buyer would also likely leave neg. feedback if nothing else.

heyward sterling red for 1000-1100 wouldnt expect it to go any higher than that.

1400(auction price, 1290 after live.com), and I got much more when I resold it, seller listed the heyward red pretty poorly as well.

The Heyward red sterling looked VERY poorly centered in the scan used in the auction. It was later shown by the buyer (who posted it on here) that it wasn't quite so poor.

So...the '07 LaPorta super is still out there...what's the hold up on that one?

That's why they should list it as like used toilet paper and if someone else really hit the BIN they could sell their used toilet paper (eww)...

Right I was the member that bought the Heyward Sterling Red on ebay, I sold it after owning it for one day(actually thanks to posting it here I got a offer on it).
