Dan Haren, best pitcher in the AL right now?

First in K/BB, whip; second in ERA and SO. He has done extremely well against the Indians twice, and he had another great start today. All signs point to yes and yes I am biased. He hasn't got the love in the media yet, mostly because of some blown saves and NDs.

Talk about "hasn't gotten the love in the media," how about Trevor Cahill? What does that guy have to do to get his fair share of respect?

And I agree, Haren is darn good, and doesn't get as much credit nationally as he should. But, there are a lot of good or better pitchers in the AL, I'm not sure there is a "best" at this point.

No doubt he's having a lights out season. He fell a lot in my fantasy draft, probably because of the 12-12 mark last season, despite the fact that his peripheral stats were in line with the rest of his career.
