Is it more important for the photographer on the right in the first photo to help out or take the picture?

Very classy. You think maybe one of the security guards would stop that nonsense, or one of the dolts around him. My favorite is the last pic with the one guy like I am taking pictures screw helping.
Why,

Because its their job, to secure the safety of the guests of the stadium. If this jack ass fell on people it would be the fault of whomever thought it was funny and did nothing, especially security guards.

I understand that. If he landed on somebody they could sue his family (not him he would have landed on his dome and died) and the stadium though.

Is it just me or does this look staged? Look at the expressions on the faces of some of the guys that are holding him up.

Is there video of him actually falling?

Speaking as a former photojournalist, he's not supposed to make the news, just observe and be in the right spot to take pictures. I saw a lot of photographers in the stands whenever Fox zoomed in on fans catching the ball. This guy just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. If he was standing by the guy and he suddenly fell, I'm sure he would have tried to grab him. I bet he was standing 10 feet away, saw the commotion, and ran over to get the shot. There isn't really any room for him to help. If 4 guys can't lift him than he's got more troubles than a 20 foot fall.

This guy is an idiot and we are all dumber for witnessing his ridiculous antics.

Because it was all set up. Had the picture from behind.... and just happened to have a camera guy to shoot his friends grabbing him.

That was my first thought when I heard about it.

Why would anyone set that picture up?

The second one looks fake but the guy was drunk so of course hes smiling. He probably thought he was flying.

A team would get chastized for this to no end if they set up this picture after Stone's death.

Its not worth it to get the shot of that.
