Gonna be weird seeing him in a different uni but I gotta admit, I'm glad he's gone. I was hoping the Orioles wouldn't give him another chance. Plus his velocity has dropped. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good. Good luck to him.

 Seriously I wish him the best. He can be really good if he's on.

Washington is going to surprise a lot of people. I would expect most of the guys below can live up to the stats I predicted. I would say they are easily better than a handful of other teams in the NL.

C - Jesus Flores - .260/15/85
1B - Nick Johnson - .250/25/80
2B - Ronnie Belliard - .285/10/50
SS - Christian Guzman - .300/8/45
3B - Ryan Zimmerman - .290/25/90
OF - Josh Willingham - .250/25/80
OF - Elijah Dukes - .265/25/95
OF - Lastings Milledge - .270/15/80

SP - Scott Olsen
SP - Daniel Cabrera
SP - John Lannan
SP - Collin Balester
SP - Clippard/Detwiler

I agree the Nats could suprise everyone. I think it is going to come down to pitching. And i just dont think they have a good enough staff yet. I do think that Dukes will have a huge season.

I doubt they will have 6 guys out of 9 in the line up with 80 runs batted in or more.
That starting rotation is still weak with Cabrera, if Scott Olsen is your go to guy you can't expect much.

Agreed. He really turned it on towards the end of last year. Barring a felony, I think he can hit 25-30 HR's and drive in a good amount of runs with the support (Willingham, Milledge, Johnson, Zimmerman, etc) around him.

Pitching looks pretty weak. The starting rotation isn't THAT bad, however the bullpen is a poor excuse for a DIII college right now.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Nats win 75 games next year. I think Flores, Dukes, and Milledge all break out. Their bullpen is awful though, and their rotation is spotty.

They won't contend, but they won't be in the bottom 5 in the NL.
