Hudson, a 5th round pick for the White Sox in 2008, has rocketed through the White Sox farm system. Your thoughts?

This would be one great Cinderella story if he got the call.

Has anyone seen him pitch in person?

I have

He is a very frustrating pitcher in that hes one of those guys that always seems to be a step ahead. From a tools perspective, nothing leaps off the page at you as being better than above average. However his instincts, location and pitch selection were better than any AA pitcher i've seen recently.

One of the problems he is going to face is short fences on certain ball parks. He is a fly ball pitcher, and would get hammered in a place with short fences.

Huddy's next start, if still in the minors, will be broadcast on MiLB.TV for those interested. Based on everything I've been told, he will get a spot start or two in the bigs this season if Contreras doesn't right his ship.

Daniel is definitely going to be a good one.
