Daniel Hudson to be called up by Chicago White Sox

Future Sox made note of it on their Twitter, and everything I have heard to this point indicates it will be made official tomorrow. Has this ever happened before? A player going from Low A-High A-Double A-Triple A-MLB in one season?

Pujols only ever won the Single A player of the year award, skipped AA, and he never made the majors that season (2000).

Joba went through High A, AA, AAA, and the MLB in 07, but he didn't start in Low A. Same for Price in 08.

It's definitely a cool and rare story...one of the reasons that September is always a fun time in baseball.
