pretty amazing how bad he has been. this guy hit 50+ just a few years ago, now he cant get the ball out of the infield. Is this cus of manny leaving? getting old?

another note, arod is 3-21 so far and looking horrible.

PTI had a fun Toss Up the other day.

Who will finish the 2009 season with the higher stat.

Zack Greinke Wins or David Ortiz HRs

They came up with 22 as a high # for Greinke.... but more likely 18-20.

So can Ortiz hit 20 HRs this year?

Anyone ever see the corrolation between Manny....Pedro....Ortiz?

Pedro and Ortiz have broken down quicker than a Yugo.

When Manny comes back is it going to be his turn next for the sharp decline?

Leaving that many on base, he should be on the Mets. They have left so many on base this year already, I'm surprized they aren't in last place instead of 1st place. It was nice to see 2 franchise records broke last nght for the Mets though. 7 SB's in a game and Wright with 4 of them, AND without Reyes in the line up.

I wouldn't lump Pedro in there. He was always so scrawny that I don't think it is surprising his body couldn't keep up the ridiculous pace he set for a few years.

Not saying there is no way he didn't use, just that his fall was pretty predictable.
