Which Viciedo Au would you rather have? Either as PC or to prospect and flip. His 2008 Playoff Contenders or 2009 Bowman Chrome (once the redemptions go live in a year or so)?

I think the 2008 contenders cause it came first, and I recognize contenders as a legit release and regard the players first year cards as most desirables.

Though I must qualify that both cards will be in demand if he gets hot, and both can be prospected, but I prefer the 2008 issue over the second year 2009.

If it was mlb licensed sticker then i would go for the contenders.

i feel like chrome auto will be more expensive

I think that 70 bin/obo is going to be a little low and is actually a decent deal. The contenders at under 40 dlvd is the buy. It's an sp /395 and will have more upside. Both will make money in the end when he's hot. The contenders will carry a higher margin.

I hate the Donruss design.

As for the picture used in Chrome, it's can't be any worse than what Donruss used.

Semantics. I will take an auto considered to be an 08 release over an auto that is considered an 09 release any day.
