I think at this point, Parra is a better option than Co-Jack. Younger, healthier and just more productive.

I wouldnt necessarily say that.

Jacksons season was a bust because he was sick for 75% of it.

Before that, he put up solid offensive numbers.

He hits .300 almost every season with around 15hr and 80rbi.

While Parra may be younger, he isnt at the level of productiveness that Jackson is. Give him more time, and I think he can be close.

I think Parra needs to play a full season as a starter to get a real gauge on what he can do. After only one season, his 162 game averages are close if not better than Co-Jack's in many key categories. The only things Co-Jack really has on him right now is power numbers and walks, which with time and at-bats, Parra can get better at.

Lot of you are sleeping on Co-Jack.

He was really coming into his own and becoming the slightly more powerful version of Mark Grace when this "Valley Fever" disease ruined his 2009 season

Check his numbers this spring. Doesn't look like somebody who "needs to go".

I don't think anyone is saying he needs to go. I personally am just saying that Parra has MUCH more upside at a MUCH younger age. I don't think Co-Jack is much of an upgrade over Parra right now, and Parra is much younger and will most likely get better.

I like Jackson moreso than LaRoche but the unfortunate aspect of the Dbacks is that he will most likely be traded.

If Borchering does produce and get called up, Reynolds will be moved to 1st, as his defense is shotty anyway, and Jackson will be left to be traded.

Parra right now isnt more than a Utility guy, but Jackson right now is a starter who can hit .300.

The Dbacks are all about right now, and right now, he will get a solid SP over Parra, which is what they need.
