Dear Cal Ripken:

On behalf of ebay sellers, please accept our hearty "thank you" for pimping Topps Million Card Giveaway on several national TV shows Tuesday morning.

By doing so, you have caused a rush by collectors to go onto ebay and pump up the sale prices of these unused codes. Many lots have doubled in sell prices over night.

Once again, thank you.

PS: on your next TV appearance, can you please mention how Jason Stokes is going to be the next Babe Ruth so I can move my stash?

I live in a small town and pretty much buy singles cards online or blasters at the local store. I guess it is safe to say that any of the local blasters are long gone. Thanks, Cal!

Pretty sure he saved you some money RITM.

The odds to pull these from retail are higher than hobby or jumbo.

Amazing thing is, there are 1,000,000 of these, and they are not even 1/pack.

I cannot even begin to imagine how many packs they make.

I picked up a single blaster and pulled 2 redemptions. I really liked the set which would prompt me to grab another. It was cool looking at the historical angle they included. Getting an '89 World Series replica patch was cool as well. I remember watching the series when the earthquake hit and the screen went black. I told my parents there had been an earthquake and they didn't believe me.

I was thinking about the production run as well when contemplating the odds. Even if there's an SP how short printed can you get when you have enough packs to insert 1 million redemption cards!

This statment isn't true. Hobby packs are 1:6 and retail packs are 1:6. It appears that the 5 dollar retail packs
pull them closer to 1:2. Jumbo hobby are 1:1
