Funds have run real low, and it has become crucial as a college student (with no job at the time) to save my money and spend it wisely. It also doesn't help to have a girlfriend and knowing that dates and dinner cost money. It sucks knowing that I could have easily gotten several cards off of eBay if I had the funds, and seeing them go really blows. There was one vintage card I have wanted for some time that has gone for a considerable amount of money, and this particular card was in real good condition. It hurt so much to see it go, as it went for under $20. Anyway, I'll be lingering for these months that I'm not buying or anything.. Happy collecting everybody.

You're in the exact same situation I've been in for the last 3 years. ;)

My parents pay for my education. I pay for everything else pretty much.

Wrong...the cards don't bitch at you and on another note...they won't destroy things or leave you either. ::facepalm::

And you can't have sex with cards.

I know how you are feeling. I have been there in the past. Its not the end of things. I would suggest just refocusing your finances on the most important aspects of your life. Perhaps you can still make some trades or sell off some stuff so that you can continue your collecting but by all means, do what you think you have to to get things on the homefront settled first. Its always tough, but this decision shows that you are being a man and doing what you have to to be responsible. I commend anyone who puts a hobby aside to make life decisions their top priority.

Yeah but you don't need a GF or wife for that. On that note...who cares. Make the best decision for you. There was a time when I actually enjoyed not having a GF for a while and being able to spend what I wanted on things. But maybe that has more to do with how costly the GF's I had were. But if youa re strapped for cash...do the best thing.
