Left me a neutral on June 24 out of the blue, stating "VERY SLOW SHIPPING TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS". He paid on June 19, see?:

Untitled-1copy.jpg

I messaged him last night:

Sir, I did not take over two weeks to send this. You paid on June 19th. You left feedback on the 24th stating my "slow shipping", which is less than a week. That is not slow shipping.

and tonight:

To be clear and as an addendum to my previous message, I would appreciate your changing of the feedback you have left, because it is erroneous.

then he replies:

no it was not and you do deserve it that is how i feel

I messaged him again, but he has not replied.
I then called eBay, who after 15 minutes told me they can't do anything....

He also dropped me all 1's in DSRs too, so I'll be getting the kiss of death soon....

Anywhere Delta goes.
If you use ebay shipping and make the label within 24 hrs they cannot change the 5 stars for shipping.

the DSR system does not function when morons are involved.

The system I am working on right now uses buyer feedback, but all negatives and neutrals go up for immediate admin review.

blocked bidder list...

I had a recent transaction that I'm waiting to go sour. Buyer hits a BIN (May 22), I send invoice. Day 7, no payment; I send invoice. Day 10 or so, no payment; I start process to get fees back. 4th and final day of case, the buyer pays (June 6). I package the card and ship it IMMEDIATELY after payment...like 5 minutes...and have the PO scan it shortly thereafter. It arrives in 2 days.

No feedback has been left by the buyer, but I have a feeling this guy isn't gone completely...maybe waiting until day 45 or something.

The stupid thing was, I emailed with the extra invoice, telling the buyer he was welcome to an extended time to pay or I'd cancel the transaction if he'd like. No reply to tell me his intentions. I know some say it's not the buyers responsibility to respond, but when my listings state IMMEDIATE payment, and I give 10+ days with no response, I think the buyer should give some form of communication.

I hope you're wrong about it not being over. It seems like people hitting BINs often take longer than auctions for some strange reason. It's eBay backwards logic.

Not sure if everyone is aware of this Ebay rule,

You will automatically receive a 5-star shipping time detailed seller rating if:
*You specify 1-day handling.
*You upload U.S. Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx supported tracking information by the end of the next business day* Pacific Time after the buyer's payment clears.
*Delivery Confirmation or tracking shows confirmed delivery 4 business days from when the payment clears—or—within your estimated delivery time if it's less than 4 days (for example, overnight shipping)

I don't sell much on ebay so I don't know a lot about the feedback system, but how can they possibly justify leaving up this kind of feedback when the buyer is out and out lying? When they are placing so much emphasis on the DSR scores and some guy like this just ruins you for absolutely no reason, it makes you wonder why they have the DSRs at all. Anyone can screw any seller at any time for any reason by purchasing a few items and marking all 1s on the scores.

But that's just for the shipping time, right? The buyer could leave 1s for all the other categories.

Yes, It is. But Shipping time and shipping charges are were everyone is being hit on their DSRs.
If you use free shipping and follow the above rules you are pretty well covered on them.

I think that as long as they are entered by the end of the next day it can be purchased from another source. I use Ebay shipping because it is entered by them.

From helping my 5 year old with his homework I'm pretty good at translating nonsense. I believe what he's trying to say is that sellers have their prices set way to high and no one will be buying cards there. Therefore you will not have a lot of feed back to go through. I could be wrong though.
