yeah and all the pats fans can flame me if they want but this one is on brady...missed so many open receivers its not even funny.

No one is going to flame you. Brady has missed open receivers, but the secondary also hasn't played well and has missed tackles near the goal line on both of Denver's TD's.

agree but at the same time...brady should be able to put up more than 17 points.

That could have been pass interference....he held the receiver before the catch it looked like.

Joke of a game. Denver thank the refs. You should've turned the ball over twice on fumbles but it was blown "dead". 5-0 frauds.

Yeah, it's the refs fault that Brady just went 19-33.

Based on your post it was all the refs' fault....it didn't help but Brady did not seem like Brady.

I do admit that officiating has been pretty poor this year altogether. They lack....consistency.

After Matt Light went out, the Pats play calling went to hell. They suddenly are afraid to put the ball in Brady's hands, and he completely falls out of rhythm. The fact is, the Pats have simply lost too many good assistants since 2004 to be a great team. The guy calling the plays now, Bill O'Brien, hasn't done Brady any favors with his playcalling so far this year. And don't get me started with Dean Pees on defense. They pressure Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan and contain both of them, yet they can't pressure Mark Sanchez, Trent Edwards and Kyle Orton and get torched by them. This was a coaching loss, IMO.

you cant blame coaching on missed throws and fumbles...defensively yeah i agree they could have been coached a little better

About time NE sees the other side of the score sheet for a change. Let's have more of this for 09-10.

Agree to disagree. I'm a major believer in the idea that the coach's job is to put the players into a position to succeed. Brady missed 4 notable passes I can think of, 2 of which came after the Light injury when the playcalling inexplicably changed. I just didn't think the offense or defense was put into a good position to succeed today by the coaches.

Eddie Royal had a decent day today. Always great to see a guy from VT have some success in the NFL.

My roommate grew up with him and they're still tight. He's a good guy. But then again, I think anyone in the universe could have a good day against that 15 yards of cushion the Pats gave tonight.

Im hoping this season proves to the Patriots that they actually need to get some talent in the defensive backfield. Meriweather is a solid safety, but he is not a great tackler. Springs is just pathetic. Leigh Bodden, Terrence Wheatley, Jonathan Wilhite. They are 4th and 5th CB's for decent teams in the NFL. You are not going to win a championship filling in holes in the defensive backfield. They have to play so soft because none of them can catch any decent receiver, thus leading to tons of short passes which is what let the Broncos get back into this game.

FRAUDS?????!!!!???? your gonna sit here after that BS of a call against Terrell Suggs last week and call Denver frauds? when clearly its in the rulebook that forward progress stops the play which is why the first fumble wasnt called and the 2nd fumble the ball was already dead and that can't be reviewed! i think its hilarious that you can actually sit here and call them frauds when the patriots actully got caught for CHEATING! if you dont remember they like to film the other teams defensive calls. thats why they are the Billicheats.. so you can get out of here with that fraud statement buddy!
