He was just removed from the game. He could be heard on the mound saying he didn't feel any pain, but he had numbness in his fingers. That isn't a good sign.

Yikes. Two different Jays had that feeling. Both underwent TJ surgery within two months.

While true, it could also be a "minor" thing as a pinched nerve in the shoulder or neck area or something of that extent. All going to be about how long it remains numb. I'm sure they will MRI his shoulder and elbow tonight regardless

Let's hope it's a minor thing. And you are right it very well could be nothing at all. Good young talent down there in Arlington.

EDIT: I just got this off my CBS fantasy site:

Derek Holland, SP TEX
News: Rangers SP Derek Holland lasted just one inning and
43 pitches Sunday at Minnesota before leaving with what the
Fort Worth Star-Telegram described as shoulder soreness.
He allowed three runs on three hits and three walks. His fastball
didn't top 89 mph until he had already faced three batters.

Analysis: You never like to hear about shoulder injuries for young
pitchers, particularly ones with Holland's talent. The young lefty
entered Sunday's game with a 2.95 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP in four
appearances, three of them starts.
