We wouldn't have enough terabytes of RAM to hold the amount of responses that would pour in from a thread like that.

But the possibilities are endless and I just bought some more popcorn today!

Why would Topps ramp up the amount of cards on the market? Wasn't the reasoning for an exclusive license to lower the amount of cards out there during each season. Topps rode the Stras hype into larger pre-orders and a watered down product because they don't have to compete to put out a fantastic product anymore. Exclusivity has already reared it's ugly head.

Granted. We all learned lessons from this year. After 2 decades running the shop I thought I had it all figured out. All I learned is I haven't learned a damn thing but I still love cards ::facepalm::

i think "Amount" here applies to the AMOUNT of releases, not amount (read: print run) of any particular release.

Well what blanning just said brought a smile to my face making all this, for now, worth it.

Im glad Topps reads this, nearly daily.

Im glad that my little post turned into this monster which spawned into other threads.

Im glad us dealers and collectors get the word out and now hopefully, something drastic will get done, some big changes made.

The HOBBY was riding the Stras hype, Topps was supplying it. But with that said, how is Topps supposed to judge how much product to make? Even with larger production runs, there are still less cards out there for 2010. Put yourself in Topps' shoes. How would you know how much product to make?
